Dr. Sarina Barbara DVM, FAAO
Dr. Sarina received her doctorate in veterinary medicine from St. George's University and graduated with honors in 2018. She immediately started her career in a rapidly growing, fast-paced practice where she performed emergency care, surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, exotic care, pain management, geriatric care, and body work.
She earned her fellowship into The American Academy of Ozonotherapy in 2020 which provided her the education and training that helped her incorporate ozone therapy into the care of her patients. Substantial results were seen in the pet patients who were receiving ozone therapy. After years of reviewing published research and implementing different medical ozone techniques into practice, Dr. Sarina and colleague Dr. Erin Holder developed protocols for veterinarians in order to provide clear cut guidelines on how to safely and confidently incorporate medical ozone therapy into their practice.
Dr. Sarina takes pride in being an integrative veterinarian and approaching her patients as whole, functional, unique individuals. Ozone therapy has been a key factor in the success of her patients and is a treatment modality that she hopes will someday be offered in all veterinary clinics!
